Sustainability reporting has been characterized by voluntary reporting standards with major qualitative and quantitative shortcomings. This has made quality assuance and the comparing of sustainability reports difficult. Companies have been able to opt out of reporting on "difficult" topics and only share the information they want. To ensure that sustainability information is of the same quality as financial reporting, the EU has introduced the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This will systemize sustainability reporting and ensure that strategies and measures are implemented where they are most impactful!

In this webinar, we will give a brief introduction to the directive. Topics that will be covered are:

  • What is the background for the directive and which other laws are directly related to CSRD?
  • What are the requirements of the directive and how will it affect your business?
  • How do the requirements of the CSRD overlap with due diligence and the Norwegian Transparency Act?
  • How can you start preparing for reporting?

There will be time to answer questions at the end of the webinar.

Target group

Private and public companies. The webinar is aimed at board members, management, sustainability managers and others involved in the sustainability work of the companies.
