In February this year Norwegian government decided to cancel the restriction on trade and investments in Burma from 1997.

Risks related to trade

What are the human rights risks related to trade in Burma? What are the law and practice within the following fields:  labour rights; environment, corruption, land access & rights for local population (e.g. when setting up a factory)? These are some questions we will discuss during the seminar.
